The focus of a Greeter is to approach and greet new and existing customerspromptly and professionally in order to encourage a positive customer experiencein the Retail store. The Greeter assesses the customer's situation to determinethe sales/service request as well as type and quality of merchandise desired.The Greeter maintains control of the customer queue, which includes setting anexpectation of wait time for each customer; promoting and displaying productsand features to customers as they wait; and ultimately transitioning eachcustomer to a sales/service representative. The Greeter acquires and maintainsproduct knowledge by attending training and reviewing product literature. Good verbal communication skills, aptitude to learn communication products andservices, ability to provide high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work a flexibleschedule that includes holidays and weekends. Continuous Standing 67-100% of the workday, Frequent Walking 34-66% of theworkday, Lifting 1-15 lbs, Frequent Hand Action 34-66% of the workday. High school diploma or equivalent. 0 1 year of retail sales and customer serviceor telecommunications experience. Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills a plus.
