The focus of a Greeter is to approach and greet new and existing customerspromptly and professionally in order to encourage a positive customer experiencein the Retail store. The Greeter assesses the customer's situation to determinethe sales/service request as well as type and quality of merchandise desired.The Greeter maintains control of the customer queue, which includes setting anexpectation of wait time for each customer; promoting and displaying productsand features to customers as they wait; and ultimately transitioning eachcustomer to a sales/service representative. The Greeter acquires and maintainsproduct knowledge by attending training and reviewing product literature. Minimum Requirements: Good verbal communication skills, aptitude to learn communication products andservices, ability to provide high level of customer service in a fast-pacedenvironment. Willingness to work a flexible schedule that includes holidays andweekends. Physical Requirements: Continuous Standing 67-100% of the workday, Frequent Walking 34-66% of theworkday, Lifting 1-15 lbs, Frequent Hand Action 34-66% of the workday. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. 0 1 year of retail sales and customer serviceor telecommunications experience.
