Beach Body Beauty Supervisor

SUMMARY

The primary purpose of the Supervisor is to lead and manage the daily operational flow within the Beauty Department to meet internal and external customer expectations.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

·  Manage the execution of the Beauty operations, including fulfillment, order picking, order inspection, order packing, operational flow, reporting, training, kit building, material handling equipment utilization, housekeeping, supplies and budget control.

·  Lead and develop departmental employees.

·  Train, develop, and evaluate subordinates as well as administer any necessary disciplinary/corrective actions.

·  Maintain a high degree of quality management and continuous improvement in every facet of the operation.

·  Manage and enforce all procedures and measures necessary to maintain inventory accuracy and the integrity of the quality management system.

·  Plan and conduct meetings as needed.

·  Create and submit reports as needed.

·  Create and maintain a safe, secure, and sanitary work environment.

·  Interface with other internal groups to understand and meet customer expectations, as well as to ensure compliance with all company rules, guidelines, policies, and procedures.

·  Must be able to document and implement processes that support the operational goals and quality management system.

·  Help establish and drive the achievement of all Fulfillment Operations goals, including quality, delivery and profitability.

·  Generate and implement an effective operations plan that meets the needs of clients, owner/shareholders and employees.

·  Provide leadership that positions the company as a "world class" fulfillment service provider.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervisors report to the Operations Manager; other subordinates report to the Supervisors. Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures, as well as all applicable local, state, and federal laws.  Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing the daily workflow; performance appraisals; problem resolution.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Three to five years’ management experience in a warehousing/distribution environment is required.  Must have strong oral and written communication skills, proven analytical and problem solving skills, and computers skills that include proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite functions and WMS applications. 

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move to and from meetings, office sites and warehouse departments; adherance to forklift safety and verbal communication is necessary.  The employee is occasionally required to sit for deskwork and meetings.  The employee is occasionally required to stand when giving instructions.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds to aid operations.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception for forklift safety.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, electrical shock and vibration due to forklifts and packaging machinery.  The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions when traveling to other office sites.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
