LoneStar Transportation, Inc. is seeking an energetic and motivated Customer Service Representative to help grow our company to the next level.  The individual selected for this position will work out of our Fort Worth, Texas facility.

 

The Customer Service Representative will ensure that customers are retained, satisfied, and that their needs are fulfilled. This position will be responsible for building, supporting, and growing LoneStar’s business relationships with customers by effectively communicating load information between customers and operations.

 

Some of the Customer Service Representative’s duties will be:

 Take information from customers and build accurate and complete orders to be passed on to planners/dispatchers in a timely manner.Receive quote information from potential customers and return the quote to the customer in a timely manner.Get credit information from potential customers as needed and forward to credit department to establish credit.Ensure that load information is entered and maintained within the company’s AS 400 computer system daily and keep operations informed and updated on changes in order status.Monitor the progress of the orders and alert the proper person in the event of a failure; or more importantly; a possible failure, so it can be prevented.Provide updates to our customers on shipment status and provide them, as a courtesy, with an E.T.A., and advise them after the shipment has been delivered.  Keep the customer informed. Provide feedback with our customers and operations to ensure better customer service. Coordinate and negotiate contract rates based on industry standards on all loads.Work with drivers and employees on a daily basis to promote an environment that is both safe and conducive to efficient and quality operations, both in the terminal and over the road.

Ideal candidates should have at least 3 years of customer service experience.  Experience in trucking a plus.
