Maintenance Supervisor - Shop

·         Create a safety-oriented culture.

·         Ensure that all operating functions are performed with safety of employees as the #1 priority while maintaining strict government compliance.

·         Create a friendly, professional atmosphere by treating all employees and vendors with dignity and respect.

·         Determine and prioritize repair orders and other operational demands as well as ensure that operational schedules are met and facility/shift productivity is maintained.

·         Assign maintenance and contract personnel to ensure maintenance resources are used economically, meet maintenance workload needs and other objectives (i.e. training, special projects, etc.).

·         Identify and resolve warranty issues and ensure proper training, procedures, tool/equipment requirements are met, etc.

·         Communicate effectively with internal customers regarding equipment availability.

·         Ensure that the use of parts, vendors, consumable products, etc. is the most cost-effective,

·         Give direction, coach and discipline employees when appropriate.

·         Implement corporate policies and practices.

·         Ensure that warranties are tracked and utilized.

·         Input and update data in computer system.

·         Prepare and complete all paperwork as required.

·         Promote the highest level of employee and customer satisfaction by being courteous, friendly and professional. By always returning all telephone calls in a timely fashion, getting management involved when necessary, and always be truthful and ethical.

·         At all times adhere to the highest standards of accuracy, honesty and conduct as established by South Hills Movers, Inc. and the moving and storage industry.

·         Perform other duties as required.
