Valley Bakers Cooperative Association is a bakery and foodservice wholesale distribution company headquartered in Greenville, Wisconsin. We serve approximately 1200 locations throughout Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We serve a varied customer base of retail, wholesale and supermarket bakeries, donut shops, pizza restaurants, pizza manufacturers, candy stores and institutional food service companies.The cooperative has developed a powerful company designed to serve the purchasing and distribution needs of the baking industry. The cooperative's single purpose is to reduce ingredient costs through volume purchasing and efficient distribution services. 

Job Description:Buy bakery related products or commodities for resale to consumers at the wholesale or retail level, including both durable and nondurable goods. Analyze past buying trends, sales records, price, and quality of merchandise to determine value and yield. Select, order, and authorize payment for merchandise according to contractual agreements as well as negotiate prices with vendors. Conduct meetings with sales personnel and introduce new products.A strong emphasis on negotiations is required.
