878537- Peoplesoft Programmer Analyst cp

Local company seeks a Peoplesoft Programmer Analyst for a permanent position in Memphis, TN.  This position will drive projects and tasks for the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, within the client’s Information Technology department. Duties include gathering requirements, producing functional specifications, analyzing queries and other procedures, and scheduling work. The position will present the functionality required of certain modules and will assess the best way to arrive at required functionality taking into account risks and impacts. This person will interact with users and business stakeholders to gather requirements and document scope through the creation of general design documents. This position will create test plans, technical design documents, functional documents and estimates. The position will be accountable for project milestones and reporting.

Basic Qualifications

-Four years experience with Relational Database structures

-Three years experience with PeopleSoft modules: HRMS, Payroll

-Experience with the following PeopleSoft proprietary languages:

*  Two years experience analyzing queries in a structured query language

*  Two years experience analyzing People Code

*  Two years experience analyzing SQR

*  One year experience tracing and troubleshooting PS Application Engine

*  Two years experience interacting with users and business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide plans, impact analysis and technical/functional requirements for developers.

*  One year experience development tasks from inception to completion.

Preferred Qualifications

-4 year college degree or advanced degree

-Experience with People Tools

-Experience with Crystal Reports for PeopleSoft

-Experience with project accountability, i.e., as a project manager, or as someone accountable for making key deliverables within a defined project.

-Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

-Certified with / working knowledge of OnQ, or any other proprietary applications

-Excellent analytical, organizational, problem resolution, verbal and written communication skills.
