Area Manager

We currently have an opening for an Area Manager in our northeast region. Primary responsibilities include the following:

 

·  Managing and supporting all sales activities within the assigned area, including developing new accounts and providing service to existing customers

·  Responsibility for Branch and Area Profit and Loss with oversight of five to eight branch locations and a fleet of 10,000 + trailers

·  Auditing and controlling financial results within the assigned area, including evaluating rate structure and controlling expenses

·  Overseeing the human resource activities within the assigned area, including selecting, developing and coaching of staff

·  Participating in all region activities, providing leadership and diligence in managing the region

 

Five years of transportation sales and lease experience, working in a decentralized environment, and a proven ability to lead and develop sales teams is required. A college degree is also required.
