Overview:

This position is responsible for sourcing, recruiting and development of retention strategies for Home and Ground Contractors and temporary drivers; must be proficient in doing information meetings and presentations to small and large groups; be familiar with contractor relations; have an in-depth knowledge of sourcing and recruiting as well as sales; working knowledge of contract and employment law and specific geographical demographics; become community and demographic expert; place ads and follow up; and implements retention strategies.

Candidate will be responsible for the following cities: Cleveland, Youngstown, North Canton and the surroundings areas.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

•Source, recruit, interview and pre-qualify select candidates for contractor positions. Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
•Source, recruit and select qualified candidates for Temporary driver positions and maintain agency contacts
•Responsible to assure agency drivers set up to be paid correctly and handles any pay issues
•Responsible for strategic placement of employment ads and posting of open positions.
•Responsible for generating applicant flow, conducting screening interviews and coordinating selection interviews.
•Develop and maintain strong working relationships with vendors, community organizations, and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility.
•Conduct retention team meetings and other informational meetings to implement retention strategies.
•Conduct contractor orientation.
•Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Information:

EDUCATION:

Mandatory requirement: Minimum of a 4-year college degree from an accredited college or university.

Preferred requirement: Familiarity with contractor relations and recruiting strategies.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum year(s) of experience in the following areas:
Must have minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in recruiting, preferably sourcing contractors and temporary drivers.


WORK RELATED SKILLS:

Must posess in-depth knowledge of sourcing and recruiting. Also, a general knowledge of contract and employment laws, also, labor/contractor relations. Must also possess a working knowledge of sales techniques.
