During our 5 year history we have demonstrated consistently strong growth, becoming the 5th largest corporate travel management company in the world.We are looking for a Director of Account Management for the East Region of the US. In this leadership role you will manage a team of account managers as they manage and grow our portfolio of existing corporate travel clients. You and you team will be responsible for ensuring the portfolio meets or exceeds its commitments around transactions and wallet share. You and the team will be responsible for driving corporate travel program consolidation within the client portfolio. And you will be responsible for achieving 100% of account renewals. You will work closely with the regional sales team to close new business. And you will work with the customer service team to both guarantee the smooth implementation of new clients, and ongoing satisfaction for existing clients.This position is based in the East region of the US, and can be based anywhere within that region.RESPONSIBILITIES? Manage and develop a team of up to 10 account managers.? Oversee regional portfolio growth, including transactions and wallet share? Manage the client renewal process? Collaborate with customer service to ensure successful client implementations? Partner with customer service to maintain high customer satisfaction and quickly resolve issues? Work closely with counterparts in Europe and Asia to develop and execute global account plans as appropriate? Create and sell new growth opportunities for clients? Ensure individual account managers have balanced portfolios? Determine quarterly quota attainment and corresponding compensation for account managers? Regularly communicate portfolio performance, opportunities, issues, and resolution to senior management in writing and verbally.QUALIFICATIONS? 10+ years experience managing large accounts, including working directly with C level executives? BA/BS or equivalent in a related field? Prior experience in travel strongly preferred? Demonstrated experience managing virtual teams required? Practical experience managing variable compensation plans is required? Demonstrated experience achieving high growth and quota attainment within a customer portfolio? Proven experience delivering high customer satisfaction? Ability to work across sales and customer service teams is required? Strong oral and written communication skills are required?
