Dispatch Associate

McClymonds Supply & Transit Co., Inc. is the leading carrier of dry bulk commodities in Western Pennsylvania.  As a recognized leader in the transportation arena, we have been providing innovative transportation solutions to thousands of customers since 1945.  Since our incorporation in 1983 we have posted tremendous growth and are currently in need of an associate dispatcher for our Portersville, PA terminal.

 

This position will support our current dispatch staff through helping to process loads, routing trucks, and following up with customer demands.

 

The ideal candidate must posses the following:

·  The proven ability to interact and communicate on a professional level with customers, drivers, and other employees.  Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks

·  Capability to create routes and schedules that enable the trucks to maximize efficiency, while minimizing empty miles

·  Strong computer aptitude in Microsoft Office is a necessity and experience with logistical software, preferably TMW Systems is a plus

·  Must have a strong attention to detail and capable of working on multiple tasks at the same time

·  A high school degree or GED is required however a college degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business is preferred

·  Transportation/Logistics experience is a plus
