Graveyard Inventory Specialist

Job Purpose:

Reconciles inventories by receiving, verifying, and processing orders.

Duties:

* Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting department documents and information.

* Verifies and completes receiving reports by checking receiving document against sales order for quantities and items shipped, release number, and discrepancies; entering receiving information into database; correcting discrepancies.

* Processes orders by entering and processing orders for outlet stores.

* Audits and reconciles inventory reports by examining distribution warehouse reports for inventory discrepancies; reconciling entries with inventory system from warehouse inventory reports, credit memos, and variances; completing physical counts.

* Verifies accounts by reconciling statements, transactions, and edits.

* Provides information by answering questions; entering data; completing disposition forms.

* Maintains departmental historical records by filing documents and transferring inactive files; destroying obsolete records.

* Maintains distribution inventory operations by collecting information; following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.

* Maintains quality service by following organization standards.

* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; making field trips.

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
