Ryder is seeking a Infrastructure Manager who will manage deployment and maintenance of facility hardware and communications. Coordinate account activities including plans, budgets, procurement, and installation of technology/facility hardware including RF network and communications equipment - network engineering. Liaison for site operations and customer regarding all aspects of IT infrastructure solution. Liaison with hardware vendors. Act as solution subject matter expert. Coordinate IT resources to meet client and operation deliverables. Provide testing, training and trouble shooting support for existing clients, production support and Ryder Help Desk. Candidate should be detail oriented, process driven and customer focused. Strong communication skills a must. Document and adjust project/facility network documentation. Education/Experience/Skills/Required Qualifications: Skills must include MS Project, Visio and suite of Microsoft products. Certifications MCSA, A+, Network +. Familiarity with WMS, TM, EDI, XML, SeeBeyond a plus. 3 - 5 years experience in network design. 3 - 5 years experience with RF wireless technologies - 802.11 a must. Experience in warehousing/supply chain management and RFID a plus.
