Manager - Vehicle Maintenance

Overview:

This managerial position functions within the vehicle maintenance department and will focus on FXG's tire program.

Position Information:

Position will manage and control tire cost goals and the national tire program. Responsible for coordination of training programs of FXG Management and contract negotiations with major tire manufacturers. Coordinates tire programs with third party maintenance providers.

EDUCATION:
Mandatory requirement: Bachelors degree
Preferred requirement: None
Considered equivalent related experience: 8+ years experience in truck fleet management and tire retreading programs, as well as background in medium & heavy duty truck maintenance

 

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum year(s) of experience in the following areas:
5+ years in management of tire and maintenance programs. Experience in fleet management and tire retreading programs, as well as background in medium & heavy duty truck maintenance

 

WORK RELATED SKILLS:
Excellent communication (verbal and written), analytical, leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Working knowledge of state and federal guidelines, OSHA, FMCS regulations, and EPA requirements. Must be a team player in an environment of continuous change.
