The candidate will be responsible for providing strategic creative and logistical leadership and support for a broad range of internal and external branding and marcom initiatives for the Global Partner Services Group (PSG) and the travel industry. PSG is responsible for supply-partner relationships and for providing hotel, airline, rental-car and other travel inventory to Expedia’s global network of Web sites. This position is responsible for driving the strategic, tactical and creative development of the B2B global marcom program, as well as design and logistical support and project management for materials creation. This position is also responsible for editorial/content management for the marcom collateral and media channels, and other ongoing design and project management and support.JOB DESCRIPTION:• Develop and implement global marcom strategies and plans that support PSG and industry marcom, including internal communications, advertising, e-mail marketing, sales collateral and online media• Project-manage partner and industry marcom initiatives from development to release, including layout and editing in alignment with brand standards and messaging platforms • Manage advertising agency and all marcom vendors• Monitor and track marketing programs against business goals to gauge the success of efforts• Develop internal communications and external marcom content from creative-briefs and/or management input• Collaborate with, and support, PR and Events teams in support of broader PSG initiatives• Assist in other communications activities, as requiredREQUIREMENTS:• 7+ years Marcom and/or online experience with B2B marketing and/or travel industry experience preferred• Demonstrated success in creating and executing print and online marcom programs, including specific experience in layout design and copywriting for B2B materials• Excellent writing, communications, and interpersonal skills• Outstanding project management and organizational skills• Ability to manage changing requirements and short timelines as well as multiple overlapping projects at one time• Experience working with vendor agencies (either in an agency or as a client)• Experience managing advertising/creative agency• Ability to work and thrive in a multi-tasked, fast-paced, dynamic environment• Superior attention to detail• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-standard print and Web publishing applicationsEDUCATION:Bachelor’s degree, Communications or related field EXPEDIA RECRUITER: Scott CorriganEXPEDIA OFFERS:A high energy, entrepreneurial environment that encourages new ideas and thinkers at all levels.
