Regional Sales Director

Position Summary

Regional Sales Director – various territories inside the US.

Responsibilities
Promote sales of the SkyBitz GLS product line and other solutions and services in assigned territory attaining or exceeding territory budgetary goals through sales success across key product areas.

Promote customer satisfaction by providing product and application information, ROI realization support, answering inquiries, investigating inquiries and taking appropriate action utilizing all available resources.

Demonstrates SkyBitz products and ROI scenarios and conducts application presentations to potential customers.

Develops specific account strategies, account portfolios and territory business plans by routinely working with the highest level decision makers in customer organizations. Develops Key Account Management plans in coordination with the SkyBitz sales management team.

Presents and reports competitive product information and competitor activity to Marketing for communication within the company and contributes to domestic business strategy for selected product lines.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Education: BS/BA

Experience: 5+ years directly related sales experience in the transportation, technology, or telecommunications industries with exceptional sales record and demonstrated ability to independently manage and service key accounts.

 

Must be knowledgeable with complex sales processes, solutions, and cycles to major corporations and companies.

Licenses/Certifications: Valid drivers license with good driving record.

Knowledge: Solid understanding of transportation industry and appropriate product lines, services, and applications. Demonstrated successful selling skills and abilities.

Must be able to travel as required by territory geography and company requirements.

Requirements:
Maintains and updates customer database in Salesforce.com consistently and completely.

Completes timely expense reports and administrative reports as requested by the Executive Vice President of Sales and Operations.

Communicates best practice sales success and assists in training and coaching of regional sales personnel as required by the Executive Vice President of Sales and Operations.

 

Supports SkyBitz’s presence in several industry related tradeshows and conferences from booth duties to customer meetings.

Enhances product and technical knowledge and strengthens skills by attendance of trade shows, seminars and training programs.


General:
The candidate will develop, promote and manage the sales of SkyBitz GLS products within the assigned territory in a manner that is consistent with business plans and company objectives.
