SENIOR FINANCIAL SYSTEMS ANALYST

 

Brief Description:

The purpose of this role is to provide support of the financial and business intelligence systems.  In addition, provide support for the implementation of new projects in these areas.

Detailed Description:

Support of business intelligence applications, project leadership, subject material expert, project participation and training of users.


Work directly with Accounting, Finance and Operations leadership and staff to support their financial/analytical system needs and identify areas for improvement related to systems above.

 

Project Related:

-  Implementation of new systems initiatives and improvement projects.

-  Evaluate current architecture and processes to increase timeliness, efficiency, and accuracy of reporting, as well as provide road map to future system and process enhancements

-  Assist in the development, implementation, testing and documentation of processes, cubes, and scripts related to Hyperion Essbase and other related initiatives

-  Implement and develop new tools such as Hyperion Planning and web-based analytical tools.

-  Assist in the design & development of data interfaces between essbase and other systems.

Support Related:

-  Provide support in resolving functional systems issues.

-  Functional support on Business Intelligence initiatives (e.g. Performance Metrics).

-  Support in technical developments via Excel spreadsheets (VBA) and other tools (e.g. Web based solutions).

-  Coordinate and implement monthly Essbase structural changes

-  Validate data integrity and ensure the appropriate application links are in place between Essbase and Oracle, GL, and other enterprise data sources

-  Manage the weekly and monthly data load into Essbase and systems that interface with Essbase

-  Prepare and maintain various Essbase data loading templates for loading forecast and budget

-  Consolidate Forecast and Budget and prepare cubes for each new planning cycle and fiscal year

Key contact regarding functional questions for systems above.

Work with remote Americas locations in support of responsible financial systems.  This includes Canada, U.S., Mexico and South America locations.

Work with the corporate entity as necessary for support of financial rollup and/or corporate initiatives.

 

Requirements:
