Lead the profitable development of a designated GCS account at global level through positioning DHL as a strategic business partner, and delivering agreed programs through a team drawn of dedicated Sales people across DHL. Create competitive advantage for the customer in his business. Manage up to 10 projects at one time. Accountabilities:-Seek to position DHL as strategic partner of the customer, through proposing business solutions that add value to the customers business and enhance its performance and reputation.-Identify and develop effective relationships with key contacts within targeted customer organizations, to ensure maximum leverage for DHL's interests.-Build customer confidence in DHL's ability to respond to their current anticipated needs, by developing in-depth understanding of customers' problems and influencing DHL's strategy accordingly.-Networks at Global & Board level with key decision makers and influencers.-Negotiations at top level with customer decision makers.-Meet Revenue Targets, Sales pipeline growth, and Improve market penetration-Develop and ensure implementation of a global strategy for each targeted account, which delivers required levels of revenue and profitability when measured at a global level.-Ensure that the strategy meets the requirements of the industry strategy and is understood and agreed by the stakeholders in DHL.-Provide direction to the team of RCM's building a strong sense of commitment and energy to ensure the objectives of the GCS Program are met.-Use appropriate strategies to build commitment within DHL to the programs globally to ensure the necessary resources are made available. Process:-Drive global account planning (set performance target and prioritize opportunities) to grow revenues and profitability.-Review customer performance. -Get buy in from regional product business unit on development plan.-Develop an overall operational plan to support the global strategy including time scales, resources, dependencies, reporting arrangements etc. -Effective implementation of global strategy in regionSkills / Qualifications-Exceptional customer service orientation.-Ability to manage in informal DHL matrix structure. (Networking, persuasive)-Internationally orientated executive. Business Person orientation.-Team orientated. Culturally sensitive.-Willing to undertake extensive international travel.-5 years Consultative Selling experience working at Board level on international level-10 years experience in commercial environment.-Educated to University Level.-In depth knowledge of Total Supply Chain of particular industry.
