Conducts special studies for top management in areas such as the customer aging, rejections and remittance. Analyzes actual customer performance against existing plans and makes recommendations on direction for customer?s receivables. .Tasks & Accountabilities Develops and implements tools and processes to support assigned DHL business units. Analyzes statistical data and prepares analysis to support the various needs of assigned DHL business units; compiles and summarizes data to present to management as necessary. Assists in the development of DHL's long-range solutions. Develops and maintains short range customized solutions. Assists in migrating these solutions to core business. Develops standard and ad-hoc reports to identify data integrity failures; performs thorough analysis to identify root causes for failure and makes recommendations for solutions. Coordinates with the internal IS department and vendors on issues related to the maintenance, upgrading, and repair of automated data management equipment. Coordinates with internal and external customers regarding data issues relating to maintenance, upgrading, and repair of automated data management systems.Researches, documents and reports on various market changes affecting the assigned business unit. Produces reports for management that draw data from various sources to aid in tracking business unit efficiency and KPIs. Takes part in various departmental projects and processes. May assist in training efforts for assigned DHL business unit. May provide functional guidance, advice and/or training to less-experienced data analysis professionals. Conducts special studies for top management in areas such as the aging, rejections, disputes and remittance issues. Makes recommendations to positively affect these areas. Analyzes the performance departments businesses and product lines and identifies opportunities for improvement. Provides analytical support for the strategic planning process, including support in the development of business unit plans (ensuring the alignment with corporate strategic objectives). Identifies and profiles the performance and management of potential merger partners.Skills & Qualifications Seasoned professional. Concerned with problems that have a direct and important effect on business programs and results. Serves as consultant to management on major matters pertaining to policies, plans, and objectives. State-of-the-art knowledge of technologies, processes, and practices. Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline and 8-11 years experience in related field or MS/MA and generally 5-7 years experience in related field. Professional certification required in some areas. Advanced knowledge of SQL and VBA.
