The Center has over 600 employees and handles all financial services for the DHL Express Americas business.Summary Work collaboratively with other business units to drive corporate profitability through the effective management of accounts receivables. Manage up to 25 highly motivated employees, using industry-leading best practices and processes. Use a combination of sound practices, analytic skills, and creativity to further improve overall profitability. Communicate effectively with both internal and external business executives, up to and including ?C level? positionsTasks & Accountabilities Employee Management Oversee hiring, management, and development of more than 20 employees. Establish clear goals that support overarching company objectives and ultimately help drive overall profitability. Act as a process manager, with responsibility for assigning workloads, establishing completion dates, and defining processes and procedures. Credit Risk Management Manage a portfolio of worldwide account receivables based on annual revenue of $4.9 billion.Develop, deliver and implement policy to support corporate risk and revenue growth objectives. Provide subject matter expertise on all matters of Credit Risk, financial analysis and bankruptcy. Manage third party vendor relationships, ensuring consistent, efficient delivery of high value, high performance products and services. Work with international internal business units and customers to resolve complex issues. Negotiate with customers, when applicable, in order to protect DHL?s corporate best interests. Collaborate with internal business units to identify opportunities for synergies and cost efficiency. Analyze trends and develop processes that increase overall departmental efficiency. Interact with various levels of senior management, through presentation of analysis, projects, recommendations, etc. as required. Identify and act on business opportunities, including process improvement, organization and policy.Skills & Qualifications Has extensive depth of expertise and knowledge in specialized functions or business areas. A thorough understanding of specific aspects of work supervised and practical application to problems and situations ordinarily encountered. Develops advanced concepts, techniques, and standards. Develops new applications based on professional principles and theories. Viewed as expert in functional or business area within DHL. Deals with cross-cultural tactical issues. Typically requires BS/BA and 6-8 years experience in related field, including at least 2 years of supervisory experience. Professional certification required in some areas.
