Station Manager - Dallas

Bring your sales management experience to an exciting start-up environment backed by a sixty year old publicly traded corporation.  We are engaged in a highly selective search for a Station Manager in Dallas, Texas.

 

The selected candidate's station will have industry leading communication and CRM systems to deliver unparalleled customer service and communication.  The primary role of the Station Manager is outside sales; However, other responsibilities include: general management of P & L, HR and operations. The selected candidate will have an immediate stake in the value they create through a monthly incentive compensation program in addition to a competitive base.

 

FFE Logistics, Inc. is part of Frozen Food Express; a 500 million dollar diversified Transportation Company.  FFE dominates temperature controlled LTL in the United States.  FFE also offers truck load services through American Eagle Motor Lines.

 

FFE Logistics has embarked on a growth plan in January 2007 that will culminate in 50 plus domestic  and international stations and 180 million in revenue by 2010.  The station in Dallas is an important piece of the plan.

 

Day in the Life

 

The Station Manager (SM) starts their day at the station.  They return calls, emails and schedule sales calls using the CRM system. The SM may visit a carrier to better understand where they have overcapacity. The SM is equipped with a laptop, air card and Blackberry.  They meet with their Logistic’s Specialist (s) and go over the day’s plan. 

 

Their sales calls involve building relationships, communicating our value proposition, finding out their transportation needs and offering them solutions.
