Ryder is seeking a Supply Chain WMS IT Project/Account Consultant who will have responsibilities including: Supply Chain IT pre-sales support, business development support, IT Project Management, IT Account Management, and WMS Launch management. The incumbent will have a thorough understanding of project management methodologies and execute the same in strict accordance with those standards. Supply Chain operations experience is important in developing an implementation strategy in the determination of solutions viability and ability to meet customer expectations and accountable to our business/operations partners during these startups. They will present and interact with customers and internal functional support teams to ensure project results are achieved on time and within budget and present project status and issues to executive level business personnel. Travel may be required in support of customer needs. Technical skill requirements to include Warehouse Management Solutions (Manhattan Associates, Click Commerce, Accellos, etc), Relational Databases (SQL, Oracle), Operating Systems (UNIX, Microsoft), Integration technologies, and general knowledge of Supply Chain Technologies. Candidate should be detail oriented, process driven, and customer focused. Must have the ability to follow a data map and technical process to analyze and/or specify an integrated solution between systems. Education/Experience/Skills/Required Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree or three or more years of experience in supply chain technologies is required. Candidate must have the ability to present and interact with customers and internal functional support teams to ensure project results are achieved on time and within budget and present project status and issues to executive level business personnel as needed. They must have the ability to manage support people in a matrix environment, be proactive with a continuous improvement mindset, motivate and generate results through influence and be a coach, teacher, and helper all at the same time. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, high energy and measurable quality focus are essential to being successful in this position. Candidate must be proficient with computers to include MS Office. Required Three to Five years of experience in warehousing, transportation, private fleet, supply chain management, inventory and process control. Warehousing and distribution management experience. Candidate must have strong communication skills with public speaking and presentation experience.
