Terminal Manager

J.P. Express Service, Inc. is a non-union Northeast Regional LTL Motor Freight Carrier with terminal locations in Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. We have operated in this market since 1993 and have grown our business by providing our customers with an excellent service product.

We are currently seeking a Terminal Manager for our Terminal in Bethlehem, PA. This position is responsible for Managing Terminal Operations of freight delivery to ensure complete, efficient and claim-free delivery to our customers. This position will manage all personnel at the terminal by enforcing worker compliance with established safety rules and regulations to protect the safety of employees and customers, the security of merchandise, property and equipment. This position is responsible for building business relationships, maintaining current business levels, and identifying and enhancing new opportunities.

Successful candidates will have 5 years of LTL Freight Management experience as well as excellent management, terminal operations leadership and communication skills. Familiarity with personnel policies, DOT driver and equipment procedures are required. It is also necessary to have good computer skills and a working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
