Transportation/Special Events Manager

The Northwest Region of Ampco System Parking has an opening for a full time TRANSPORTATION/SPECIAL EVENTS MANAGER to managing and coordinating special events valet parking service and transportation service in the Greater Seattle, Washington area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Customer/Client contact – respond to inquiries on special events valet parking service and transportation service, provide quotes and ensure collection of service rendered by invoicing customers on a timely basis. Coordinate with operations management and schedule employees to work the various events or transportation services.  Supervision of multiple employees of 50+ during peak times.Build new business and maintain regular clienteles in both special events parking service and transportation service.Ensure proper staffing in assisting with hiring and training of personnel needed.Create operating plans and budgets for each event and ensure substantial profitability.Ensure maintenance and safety of vehicles within the Transportation Fleet.Implement company policies and procedures and safety requirements to ensure fair, equitable and safe work environment.Handle additional projects assigned by the Assistant Branch Manager, Branch Manager or Regional Vice President.

 

REQUIREMENTSMust have valid WA State driver’s license with good driving recordExcellent leadership skills to supervise and lead a teamExcellent customer service skills to increase business and maintain a regular client baseAbility to price jobs and ensure profitProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Lotus NotesCompletion of 4 yr college or equivalent work experience in the transportation industry
