Vice President of Advertising Sales, Internet Media

The Vice President of Advertising Sales will be responsible for managing a group of sales staff consisting of managers and directors in three locations. This includes assisting with achieving sales goals and providing guidance on complex account issues. You will be needed to train, develop, and motivate your team.

In addition, you will sell Travelzoo’s online products and meet advertising revenue goals. Manage building and maintaining relationships. Align client’s sales strategies by positioning Travelzoo’s products as a viable target market and successfully partnering with clients to meet their sales and marketing objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- 15 plus years' solid experience with a leading media company, with 5-8 years with an online media company
- A minimum of 4 years' management experience
- A successful track record of managing and motivating employees and meeting sales goals
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to achieve results while working independently
- Flexibility to travel to meet with clients and employees
- Bachelor’s degree minimum

The position can be based in Travelzoo's Chicago or New York office and will report into the SVP of Sales. Applicants with less than 15 years' experience and limited management role will not be considered.
