Full Charge Bookkeeper/Assistant Controller

Fast growing waste management company seeks an experienced full charge bookkeeper/assistant controller. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Accounts Payable, including invoice verification, entry into system, reconciling vendor accounts and statements, weekly check runs, matching and batching invoices.  Cash Receipts - application into system, research applicable accounts, verify daily totals.  Payroll - entry and verification prior to submittal to payroll company for processing, maintenance of employee personnel files, etc.  This position will also be assisting the Controller with month-end reconciliations, researching entries, preparing spreadsheets and other ad-hoc projects.

Experience with Quickbooks, ADP payroll, Excel and accounting software preferred.  This is a multi-faceted, diversified opportunity to join a fast paced and growing organization.  Attention to detail, ability to prioritize, multi-task and solid problem solving abilities required.
