Safety-Kleen has an immediate opening for an Outside Sales Representative - Automotive in Norcross (N. Atlanta), GA. This individual will be responsible for recruiting, developing, training and directing Automotive Market Specialists that will focus on the automotive dealer market segment.  This job will enable the company to retain and further develop existing business, as well as increase market share with new customers.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Direct Automotive Market Specialist activities including territory and quota assignment, performance management, periodic reporting etc.

·  Train and develop sales force through coaching and mentoring, direct and indirect training and follow-up on subordinates.

·  Effective sales force staffing – planning, selection, recruiting, on-boarding. Works with HR Generalist

·  Interface directly with Dealer Groups to achieve own sales goals, increase market segment business awareness, ensure strong customer to SK relationships, obtain feedback on subordinates, etc.

·  Enhance effectiveness (profitability, time-to-close, market share)  of Automotive market segment through creative approaches to product/service offerings and bundling using market research, customer suggestions, business partnerships, trend analysis  observation, etc.

·  Price exception processed while maintaining CM standards

·  National Auto Dealer Association involvement

 

QUALIFICATIONS

·  High School or equivalent required

·  Bachelor’s Degree preferred

·  10 to 15 years experience preferred

·  Detail oriented

·  Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint

·  Self starter

·  Project and time management

·  Work with little supervision 

·  Concise reporting

·  Multi-tasking

·  Experience with SAP and TMS systems

·  Communication

·  Work well with different groups and departments
