We serve a diverse customer base within the health care community, including health care payers, providers, employers, pharmaceutical companies, consumers, workers’ compensation and auto liability insurers, and government agencies.The Project Manager manages one or more project teams in the delivery of quality clinical trial management services to achieve the stated goals of the sponsor and Ingenix ACS.Sr. level Project Managers typically have responsibility for large projects, global studies, multi-project programs or groups. Primary Responsibilities: With Business Development, lead proposal teams to develop competitive proposals that can be delivered to meet time, quality and financial expectations of Ingenix ACS/Global and the sponsor. Function as primary liaison between the sponsor and Ingenix ACS. Facilitate all communication with the sponsor to assure understanding of expectations and scope of work. Establish, negotiate, and communicate project status and timelines with sponsor and all project team members. Anticipate, recognize and resolve issues. Recognize the need to seek assistance or inform senior management of specific issues. Plan, organize, and manage all aspects of assigned clinical programs on behalf of Ingenix ACS (and other Ingenix companies). Act as primary contact for project questions and issues from sites. Review, edit as needed, and approve monitoring reports submitted by monitoring personnel. Lead and manage the efforts of all key functional departments to perform all project-related activities according to project milestones/timelines in a manner consistent with the Ingenix ACS and project-specific processes. Maintain communication with Business Development to discuss the cultivation of any identified business opportunities. Maintain communication with Business Management to discuss change orders. Develop the Clinical Operations Manual and communicate the content to all team members. Manage the project budget and specifications to ensure project goals are achieved according to sponsor and Ingenix ACS expectations. Review and approve project-related travel and expense reports for all team members with both line and matrix reporting relationships. Function appropriately and effectively within the matrix management system to assure project priorities and functional line considerations are aligned. Perform vendor selection and management functions when required by project scope. Provide project support, performance management, and career development guidance to direct reports (if applicable). Manage personal career development and administrative tasks. Contribute to the growth and development of the department through participation in and leadership of process and tool development, initiatives, management. Serve as back up or stand-in for next level of management when required.Qualifications: Bachelor's level degree required Masters preferred.  Advanced project management and skills training with 4+ years of project management experience in the healthcare industry with global or larger clinical program experience. Demonstrated success in meeting project time, quality and financial targets in matrix organizations.  Experience managing other preferred. Demonstrated experience in project management tasks (e.g., work plans, financial budgets, timelines, status reports, issue management, resource and personnel management) with 4 or more years experience in the role of Project Manager. Experience working on a team across multiple functional areas (e.g., work with Operations, Quality Assurance, Data Management, Medical Affairs, Finance). Strong knowledge of clinic operations. Demonstrated ability to successfully supervise and lead others. Excellent communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi task. Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, and Outlook). Able to stay committed to long-term project goals.
