Explore the opportunity of world-changing work available to you below.CH2M HILL OMI is currently seeking to hire a qualified Senior I&C Specialist to support our Northeast Region.General Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Create and take ownership of the I&C business in a particular region. Develop the business unit into a profitable group, producing top quality consulting services, with a high performance team of I&C specialists Lead regional I&C staff in developing new client consulting work within core I&C expertise, especially in water, wastewater or industrial sectors. Create marketing materials with Business Development resources, identify key clients, conduct sales meetings, track costs versus returns on projects won and lost, and manage development budgets Manage and deliver I&C consulting work for external clients, including cost controls, project setup, staffing, utilization, client interface, and followup. Develop pricing and budgets to maintain profitable growth. Ensure that customer satisfaction is maintained at the highest levels, and the quality of work products Manage and deliver I&C support work for internal CH2M HILL clients and CH2M HILL OMI projects. Ensure that internal customer satisfaction is maintained at the highest levels, and the quality of work products Facilitate I&C knowledge sharing between projects in the region and the company as a whole, and collaborate with I&C expertise in other CH2M HILL business groups. Attend cross-business group meetings with I&C experts from OMI, WBG, Lockwood-Greene, IDC, and other business groups within the enterprise Identify “at risk” projects and provide I&C support as necessary. Coordinate with the Regional Maintenance Specialist and Project Managers to ensure that proper resources are obtained in a timely manner Communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with supervisors, coworkers and clients Maintain technical skills at the highest level and remain informed of the latest developments in the field Mentor project staff with I&C talent, and identify new associate prospects for our growing businessSpecific Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide leadership in establishing development goals to grow the I&C business unit within the O&M Consulting Group, including target clients, utilization and profitability, project value to pursuit cost ratios, customer satisfaction, and work product quality. Produce annual budget upon which financial performance will be based Ensure that staff in the I&C unit maintain billable performance without unreasonable workloads, and an acceptable work:life balance as appropriate for each associate. Mentor staff in technical skills, industry experience, and other lessons to develop staff to higher levels of responsibility. Conduct performance reviews at least twice per year for all direct reports Develop and maintain relationships with external clients and CH2M HILL staff, both with regard to core I&C technical issues, and with business or administrative issues. Identify a mentor within the enterprise to assist with building these relationships, and work with them to build a professional reputation within the enterprise and with clients Develop technical skills and knowledge with continuing education and training related to the core water, wastewater and industrial business sectors, and expand expertise into prospective markets in which the I&C unit can provide support services Provide technical and management assistance to Regional Technical Managers, Regional Business Managers, Regional Maintenance Specialist, and Project Delivery as necessary to support efficient technical performance of OMI facilities Report monthly to Director of Technical Services on project status Participate in and/or lead internal OMI teams which facilitate implementation of the quality process Provide OMI Project Delivery support on a short-term (up to 2-4 weeks) basis as necessaryWorking Conditions:The work area can involve exposure to inclement weather, loud noise, active machinery, high pressure fluid systems, electrical shock and vibration, confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, air borne particles, toxic and explosive gases, infection and blood-borne pathogens. Work is normally performed in a typical interior office environment. Must be able to perform repetitive hand movements and fine coordination when preparing reports and using a computer keyboard, have vision sufficient to read computer screens, printed documents and operate office equipment, have hearing in the normal range with or without correction.
