Position Description:

JOB SUMMARY:Leads projects to analyze and improve pricing opportunities and overall performance for assigned division. Works closely with the Sales organization to ensure pricing data is used to maximize sales efforts and reporting is available drive continuous improvement. Develops and recommends optimal pricing of services for assigned division, to ensure achievement of financial targets and goals in accordance with PSC policies, practices and procedures..PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Conducts analysis, modeling, research, process design/documentation, and work closely with the Pricing Director to ensure success in pricing areas, * Pricing Process (billing methodology, pricing structure, contract pricing development, etc),* Pricing Strategy (e.g. competitive strategies based upon customer segmentation), Pricing Analysis (e.g. reporting/performance tracking, customer profitability, etc.), * Pricing Intelligence (industry pricing trends, competitive pricing actions), * Pricing Systems, and Pricing Optimization science (statistical and predictive modeling/forecasting). * Leads assigned projects and manages both internal and external resources to project timeliness and due dates.* Performs other duties as required.SCOPE: * Assigned divisionMEASURES OF PERFORMANCE:* Thoroughness and accuracy of work* Capability to manage multiple projects* Achievements of financial targetsEDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:* Bachelors Degree in related discipline (Finance, IT, Engineering) or diverse and significant experience within PSC or related industry. JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE:* 5 plus years in an analytical role with some recent supervisory experience* Pricing experience is a plus, but not required. DEMONSTRATED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, COMPENTENCIES AND ABILITIES:* Proven proficiency in using MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.* Problem-solving and decision-making skills* Project management experience* Presentation skills* Strong written and verbal communication skills* Strategic and creative thinking ability* Strong interest in retail pricing and related consumer behavior* Excellent analytical, business modeling, process improvement, research, and problem solving skills. * Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication and presentation skills* Demonstrated ability to tackle new challenges and learn new skills* Demonstrated expertise with quantitative based work (research, analysis)* Significant experience with Enterprise applications such as (e.g. Oracle, JDE) OLAP tools and pricing or CRM applications.
