A leading jewelry wholesaler is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join its Accounting team. This position reports to the Controller. Accounts receivable manager is responsible for the management of accounts receivable operation and credit policy. This position requires excellent communication skills to interface with customers and other departments in the company.  Strong analytical and computer skills are required to provide accurate and meaningful financial reports for management decisions.  The responsibilities include but not limited to the following.

· Oversee cash application and credit memo processing.

· Resolve and make recommendation on customer chargeback.

· Contact and follow up customers for collections.

· Supervise and train accounts receivable staff.

· Monitor customer credit rating and recommend credit limit of new customer.

· Work with operation and sales to develop control procedure to ensure transactions are processed correctly in the system.

· Request insurance approval and prepare monthly management report

· Special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

·  Bachelor degree with major in accounting, finance or business is the minimum requirement, MBA would be a plus.

·  Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience with at least of 2 years in supervisory role.

·  Excellent analytical, research and communication and organizational skills as well as ability to pay attention to details is required

·  Ability to work independently with excellent interpersonal skills

·  Strong Excel skills are necessary to perform the job.
