CREDIT/COLLECTIONS REPRESENTATIVE

Busy CITY OF INDUSTRY distributor has an immediate opening for a Credit/Collections Representative.

 

Job Qualifications:Minimum of five (5) years experience in Credit/Collections Strong computer skills including MS Word and Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail oriented, self-starter with a stong work ethic Energetic, with a strong sense of urgency Highly organized and able to prioritize work flow Must have a positive attitude and be a team worker

 

Job Description:Manage accounts receivable of numerous assigned accounts Approve or deny transactions for assigned customers Place accounts on credit hold when overdue/over their credit limit Initiate write offs, adjustments and credit memo requests Perform timely collection of accounts receivables with identification and resolution of charge backs and short payments Process credit applications, correspond with banks, trade references, run credit reports, print labels, create credit files Set up new accounts in system Prepare refund request forms Manage credit card transactions and online payments Manage daily offsets, debit notes and credit notes Participate in Credit Department meetings Assist internal and external customers Other duties as assigned
