DIRECT IMPORT COORDINATOR

Currently we are seeking a motivated self-starter to coordinate Direct Import Orders from our national distribution network.  Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

 Data entry of customer orders with a high degree of accuracyDistribution of accurate and compliant U.S. Customs documentation to distributors and brokersMonitoring the status of customer ordersCorrespondence with suppliers, freight forwarders, customers, and PBI Sales TeamUpdate PBI’s systems with dates of events, i.e. shipping and deliveryPrepare orders for billing

 

The qualified candidate must have a minimum of two years of experience in the freight forwarding or import/export industry.  Excellent customer service skills are required.  Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office.  Excellent organizational skills and the ability to pay attention to detail are required.
