Our commitment to serve is at the heart of everything we do!  The key to our formula of success are our people…and all that’s missing is you!  As the Divisional Logistics Analyst you will develop and implement logistics plans that affect the production, distribution, and inventory of a wide variety of products (fresh produce, frozen goods, grocery items, etc) to enhance the Gordon Food Service product flow, ensuring quality and cost control.  Here’s a little of what this position does for the team: Collaborates with Marketing and Sales to effectively plan future events, determine product trends, input new products and delete discontinued products Develop and maintain statistical forecasts using Manugistics software application Generate and analyze forecast performance reports, communicating the results to appropriate departments Collaborate with the vendor community through seasonal forecasting and product demands Develop and finalize replenishment plans based on established procedures Review and resolve SKU exceptions including short or late shipments, stock issues, including excess inventoryKey requirements for this position:Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or relative field – or work experience that is comparable Two years of previous food service industry and/or logistics experience working with the supplier community – or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain logistics with applied knowledge of Manugistics software Excellent time management skills, very detail oriented Ability and desire to work on multiple tasks Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills  What we offer our employees here at GFS:Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and prescription insurance Short/Long-Term Disability Time-off Benefits Generous 401k matching program Flexible spending Profit Sharing Gordon Food Service, a family corporation with room for one more at the table.
