Export Associate - Logistics - Food - Japanese Bilingual

Are you fluent in Japanese and English? Do you have 2 to 3 years experience in Import-Export or Global Logistics? We are seeking an Export Associate to work in our Export division handling shipments of fresh produce to Asia.Key responsibilities include: - Respond to internal and external inquires concerning shipments and/or issue resolutions - Work closely with freight forwarders to coordinate shipments in an accurate and timely manner - Purchase various food products and negotiate with vendors on pricing and related issues - Gather and analyze marketing information for US, Japan, South America, and China markets - Keep abreast of changes in government trade regulations, world trade initiatives and other legislation to ensure export compliance procedures remain current The Qualified Candidate will have: - 2 to 3 years work experience in global logistics / import-export - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong organizational and prioritization skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) - Able to travel occasionally domestically and internationally - Fluent in English and Japanese (speakig, reading, writing) with some Spanish skills desirable - Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Economics or equivalent experienceWe offer: - Competitive compensation - Comprehensive benefits - 401k and bonuses - Much more!So if you are bilingual in English and Japanese and have 2 to 3 years experience with Import / Export and Global Logistics documents and administration, then apply today!Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.
