This opportunity is in our LAX office located in Torrance, CA.  This individual will be responsible for the following:

Managment, Leadership and training of an Export department of 10. Properly organizing job functions and ensuring various export tasks are completed.  Assists in hiring of personnel. Responsible for streamlining operation, and maintenance of clients.  Responsible for selecting most cost effective carrier for direct shipments and consolidation shipments. Responsible for verifying accuracy of all shipping instructions and documents. Good communication skills is paramount.  Must have a strong background in Export Compliance matters.  The candidate must be able to apply commonly used concepts, practices and procedures to resolve a variety of issues he/she may encounter.  Ensures all special customer requirements are met. Abides by ISO 9002 quality systems and procedures. Applicants must have knowledge in transportation of air, ocean and inland.Also must have experience in preparing airway bill and ocean bill of lading.

This is a key position in our LAX operation.  Must have 7-10 years of Export and proven management experience.
