The Global Accounts Analyst reports to the Global Accounts Manager and supports the execution of strategy and customer relationship management for the Global Account. The Global Accounts Analyst provides timely and accurate data and reports, and creates and maintains the Standard Operating Procedures database for the account. The individual in this position will play a key role in troubleshooting processes, and making suggestions for operational and reporting improvements. This position manages and facilitates the sharing of large amounts of data, responds to ad hoc requests for information, generates monthly and quarterly review reports, and may also provide administrative support to the Global Accounts Manager as needed. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES Develops and assists others in developing quantitative analysis of operational performance and other analysis in support of the sales/solutions strategies to create value for the customer Assists in development efforts of reporting tools and process, and make continuous improvements to existing resources. Measures benefits of improvements. Coordinates effort between the business and IT to develop and enhance reporting capability Maintains, and helps execute sales plans, projects and/or programs Plans and works on multiple, complex assignments concurrently Use computer databases, spreadsheets, CRM system, and other tools and approaches in analyses Communicates and assists with data, feedback, and problem solving with the Global Accounts Manager, customer representatives, and operational personnel Independently attends meetings that may be cross functional Exhibits solid knowledge of business etiquette and process High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred Three years of business experience in supply chain management, freight forwarding, logistics, warehousing, or other related industry Knowledge of Six Sigma methodology and tools preferred Strong analytical, problem solving, planning, reporting, communication, and presentation skills Strong business, operations, and technical aptitude Customer service, and project planning skills required Excellent communication, follow-up, networking, interpersonal and influencing skills Must be able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities, often requiring strict deadlines Must be able to work independently and make sound business decisions Knowledge of Logistics sales and/or Operations processes is preferred LANGUAGE SKILLS The position requires good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment. English is the principal language for PWC Logistics; however, the ability to communicate effectively with speakers of other languages is necessary to be effective in the company culture and geography of the assigned account(s). COMPUTER SKILLS Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) is required. Knowledge of SQL, DB2, HTML is helpful. PHYSICAL DEMANDS This position may require occasional travel to meet with customers and sales team members located in different regions or countries, therefore the ability to travel by air plane, carry luggage, and drive a vehicle are also key physical requirements. The ability to effectively use technology (PDA, laptop, phone, etc.) to communicate and enhance productivity is required. WORK HOURS AND ENVIRONMENT Normal working hours for this position are Monday-Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, however, overtime may be required.
