LT Apparel, a leader in the children's wear industry, is seeking a Girls' Graphic Artist

Position Summary: The primary responsibility of the Graphic Artist is to develop and execute graphic art from concept to completion which coincides with the design of the product.

1.  Create graphic art/embellishments for all styles.

2.  Create and build trend visuals and concepts for graphic ideas seasonally.

3.  Assist in the preparation of graphic/art set-ups seasonally.

4.  Maintain and update art set-up sheets as needed.

5.  Collaborate with design and the product coordinator on all graphic/embellishment approvals.

2.  Research trends for graphics and newest embellishments seasonally.

Work Experience Requirements: 2-3 years job related experience in creative and graphic design.

 

 

Education Requirements: Four year degree in design/advertising field.

 

 

Required Skills: This person must have a strong aptitude for computer illustration and willingness to learn new skills, techniques and programs. They must possess exceptional knowledge of MAC computer systems and related design software. Strong experience in publication design, catalog layout, and presentation work is necessary.

  This person must possess a strong color sense and how it is applied to garment and graphic form. A thorough knowledge in designing and garment embellishments, i.e. screen printing and embroidery from concept to printed production is necessary. Also, the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and the ability to cope with constant change and adhere to strict deadlines is a must.
