About the Opportunity If you already have knowledge of J-SOX (Japanese version of Sarbanes-Oxley) we'll love it. If not, but you have the ability and drive to learn quickly, this position still may be for you. If you speak and understand Japanese, that is a plus, too, but we'll still consider you even if you don't. An Internal Auditor for ASICS America Corporation develops and recommends processes and policies that protect the company's assets; prepares for audits; monitors compliance with regulations and controls; verifies assets and liabilities; completes audit work papers and memoranda; communicates audit progress and findings; improves protection; and supports external auditors. If chosen, you will be coordinating with the J-SOX manager of our parent company (ASICS Corporation of Japan) as well as all levels of management within our U.S. organization.

Qualifications

Has knowledge or experience with Japanese SOX requirements

Handles work of diverse scope and complexity.

Synthesizes all forms of research into clear, thoughtful, actionable deliverables

Uses multiple resources, quantitative, and qualitative research methodologies to capture and interpret information.

Skilled at completing audits of accounting records, internal control systems, and related procedures for accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures.

Familiarity with the ICC's rules for business conduct, including UCP500, URCG, URDG, URC 522, and URR 525.

Skilled at analyzing causes of variances between actual and budgeted income and expenses.

Familiarity with issues of compliance for state and federal regulations.

Pays attention to detail. Approaches work in a meticulous and thorough manner.

Can be trusted to keep sensitive information secure.

Conscientiously and methodically approaches work. Sees tasks through to completion.
