Inventory/Office Clerk - Temporary to Hire Opportunity Now!

Leading Grain Exporter has an immediate need for an Office Clerk with inventory experience. The organization has been around for 30 years with several locations in multistates. The worksite is located in North Portland where parking is available. Candidate must have own reliable vehicle due to the location. This is a temporary to hire position. Pays $12 per hour. The schedule is Monday-Friday 6:00am-3:00pm. Occasional weekend shifts for back-up.The focus of the Office/Inventory Clerk is to compile and maintain records of quantity, type and quality of grain.The duties will be:- Count the quantity and post to inventory records. - Prepare reports such as inventory balance in each bin.- Balance daily inventory with daily report.- Enter load information from transportation into system.- Assist with back-up on the phones, mail and errands as needed.The ideal candidate will possess:- Strong math skills: calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.- Strong Word, Excel and Outlook. Quattro Pro is helpful.- Be able to use a ten key calculator by touch.- Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience.- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memos and instructions; write correspondence, and present information effectively.- Valid driver's license.This position requires a criminal background check, clean driving record, and able to pass a drug screen.Send your resume to portland@nwstaffing.com for consideration.
