The Management Trainee will receive hands-on experience in every aspect of the distribution of plumbing, heating, industrial, and pool supplies.  Our Trainee will spend their first 9 months to 1 year in our profit center in Pensacola, Florida where they will progress through various job functions including warehouse shipping and receiving, counter sales, purchasing, and operations management.  On-the-job experience will be supplemented with coaching by an experienced Mentor, as well as vendor and customer visits, and book and computer courses.  The Management Trainee will then be reassigned to another profit center in Florida, to gain exposure to additional products and another Mentor.  This second phase of training includes approximately 6 months learning inside sales and 1 year learning outside sales.  Upon graduation from the Management Training Program, the Trainee will be promoted to a Management role.

 

Our compensation package includes a competitive base salary of $35,000 - $38,000/year, commensurate with experience.  We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes generous medical coverage, profit sharing, 401(k), pension, life insurance, pre-tax accounts for healthcare, paid sick time, paid company holidays, and paid vacations.

 

Hajoca is looking for an individual with a Bachelor's Degree and 1-3 years of work experience, preferably in business operations or sales.  Ideal candidates will have demonstrated leadership qualities in their professional, educational, or social experiences.  Familiarity with the plumbing, HVAC, or pool industries, or with warehouse or distribution environments, is a plus. 

 

Recent college graduates with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, who have held part-time jobs or internships that allowed them to develop business skills in areas such as customer service, sales, or finance, may also be considered.
