Manager, Gen Line Prod I or II *(DOE)

An opportunity exists in our Building Materials Distribution Division of Boise Cascade LLC, for a General Line Product Manager I or II (DOE) in the Riverside, CA area.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the purchasing, pricing, and marketing of a group of general line products for warehouse and customer sales. Develops sales strategies, new products, promotions, and conducts sales presentations on assigned general line products. Monitors and maintains acceptable inventory levels, turnover, and margins to maximize branch profitability. Solicits direct and warehouse sales on all general line products. *DEPENDING UPON EXPERIENCE*

 

Qualifications:

College degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of three years in product management of general lines or outside sales experience in the building materials industry. Broad knowledge of business administration, marketing, or procurement management a plus. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and with teams. May require proficiency in utilizing computer software applications necessary for performing job responsibilities.
