Position: Marketing and Sales Assistant

 

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Responsible for various activities and functions assisting Marketing, sales and new product research and development initiatives.

 

Specific Job Duties:

 

a.  The marketing assistant will be required to assist and support the Director of Marketing and Sales group with regards to particular marketing activities and programs/projects as they arise. (Examples include: Sales presentations, corporate literature, sales promotions, trade shows, advertising initiatives, website assistance, customer research and surveys, database/contact management and so forth.) This person will be expected to liaise with design agencies, printers, packaging and product manufacturers with regards to these various projects.

b.  Liaise with internal departments, customers and production to facilitate packaging designs and approvals.

c.  Produce and disseminate electronic and printed communications announcing New Product Development and special programs.

d.  Updating of the company website.

e.  Other office duties will include printing and photocopying, data capture, dealing with customer and vendor samples general research using various industry resources and or Company business software. Assist with specific sales orientated tasks including, but not restricted to customer quotes and research.

f.  New vehicle and product research and team participation.

g.  Various other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

 

Background Requirements:

 

·  B.S. or B.A required, preferably a degree in Marketing or Communications.

·  Customer service experience is preferred but not necessary.

·  Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.

·  Experience in PowerPoint, design, Website software or CRM software would be a distinct advantage.
