Marketing Coordinator
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for but not limited to the analysis of and relationships with Colonial’s house Accounts. This includes: Sales data analysis, management of transition accounts, execution of customer training seminars and other customer events, development and implementation of programs that increase customer loyalty and continue to maintain relationships with local industry associations. This position, as a member of the Marketing Team, will also have opportunities to assists other team members with additional marketing responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities
o House Account Contact Administrator
§ Maintain House Account Contact database and report on the number of House Account contacts made each month, sales figures and customer comments. Results are reported biweekly.
§ Review House Accounts regularly for sudden, dramatic or incremental changes in sales history of an account. Communicate information to the appropriate Branch Manager or Inside Sales Representative
§ Analyze and report sales results for House Accounts on a quarterly basis
§ Provide talking points for Inside Sales Representatives to utilize when contacting House Accounts and potential customers
§ Manage distribution of premiums and promotional giveaways for House Accounts
§ Develop and manage House Account customer loyalty programs
o Management of Account transition status
§ Manages account transition through the House Account Transition Process
§ Maintains dialogue with Regional VPs and Branch Managers to obtain transitioning accounts
§ Follows-up with responsible parties to make sure newly transitioned accounts are given the attention while transitioning.
§ Monitors transitioned accounts and reports on the progress of these accounts.
o Planning and Execution of Customer Training Seminars
§ Works with Marketing Manager and Regional VPs to identify training topics, location, date, time and vendors for a training session.
§ Identifies customers to invite based on subject matter, need, location and purchasing habits.
§ Builds awareness campaign for each seminar and acquires customers to attend
§ Develop subject manner and agenda with vendors, Marketing Manager and Regional VPs.
§ Coordinate dates and logistics with selected venue and caterer
§ Manage day-of and on-site logistics including seminar setup, food and beverages, agenda, guests, premiums and breakdown of event
§ Report results and ROI of each seminar
o Manage Participation in Local Industry Associations
§ Endure membership requirements are up to date, dues and sponsorship fees are paid.
§ Identify appropriate Industry events and sponsorship that Colonial will participate in
§ Coordinate Colonial Staff person attendance, material needed and fulfillment of attendees’ stipend.
Requirements:
§ 0-3 years of experience in marketing.
§ BA/BS in marketing or business related field preferred.
§ Excellent written and oral communication skills.
§ Experience with Microsoft Suite.
· Must have experience with Microsoft Access
§ Experience managing and prioritizing multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.Must have attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
