Marketing Manager

Johnstone Supply, Inc., the nation’s largest HVAC/R wholesale distribution Cooperative, has an exciting opportunity as a Marketing Marketing Manager.  We are seeking individuals with expertise in both the Refrigeration and Controls market segments.  This position, located at our Corporate Office in Portland, OR, is responsible for executing the overall strategic marketing plan of assigned product lines/brands, including product selection, vendor negotiations, inventory planning, advertising and promotions, pricing, financial analysis, sales and ensuring our Members have everything they need to service their customer.

 

 The ideal candidate will have:

· Knowledge of product marketing, pricing structures and promotional principles

· Knowledge of product purchasing and inventory control principles

· Ability to analyze financial and overall business impact of marketing decisions

· Ability to develop win-win relationships and negotiate on behalf of Johnstone Supply’s Membership

· Skill in managing people to meet mutual goals and objectives

· HVAC/R industry experience

· Ability to travel 50%
