Marketing / Public Relations Director

Must be able to take ownership of the following:

  Generate strategic relationships within home furnishings industry to enhance brand and create opportunities for growthWork in tandem with Stanton’s advertising and web development agencies to create, manage and execute quality campaigns, programs and corporate collateral. Co-op advertising development and implementationEffectively manage departmentWrite copy for a variety of marketing materialsPublic relations initiatives to include basic trade and consumer press releases, creative initiatives, liaise with advertising reps for added value programs, etc. Establish and maintain marketing/advertising budget

 

Job Requirements:5 plus years in a high level Marketing or Public Relations position reflecting a

proven record of creative and sustainable efforts through the development and implementation of marketing programs. Must present writing samples via marketing or media designed materials.Achieve projects and tasks on budget and within deadline.Previous marketing experience with a high end, decorative consumer product a plus.Trade show experience a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet savvy.Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must be able to communicate with all levels of management and clients.Ability to travel on occasion as needed.
