Operations Representative- NEQ

“K” Line America, Inc. (KAM) is a wholly owned subsidiary of “K” Line and one of a number of its highly successful organizations. 

 

KAM is currently seeking a qualified and motivated candidate to fill the position of Operations Representative in our Richmond, VA National Equipment department.  The Operations Representative will be responsible for running reject reports and correcting container movement records, following up with vendors to correct/prevent miscoding, managing container aging information and following up with the sales department on exceptional dwelling cases, as well as managing the container sublease process by researching causes of misuse and updating accordingly.  In addition, the Operations Representative will input container movement data, manual updates and booking adjustments.

 

Our desired candidate will have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, proficiency with diverse computer systems including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks in an extremely fast paced environment and be effective at working independently.  Prior transportation experience is helpful; however, equally as important is a candidate who possesses a strong desire to learn, an innate customer service mentality, and the ability function at a high level in a dynamic work environment.
