Outbound TeleSales Account Executive

Tangle has been marketed through our partnerships with major brands like: Nickelodeon, Coca Cola, Kellogg’s, McDonald’s and has been sold through major retailers. Tangle Inc. is headquartered in South San Francisco and has been in business for over 26 years.
We are a fun, dynamic toy company that thinks outside the box and develops quality products including: Tangle Toys, Tangle Electronics, Tangle Museum Collection, Tangle Therapy and Tangle Promotional goods. We are looking for someone creative and highly motivated to join our team in South San Francisco.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
In the position of Outbound Telesales Account Executive your efforts will focus on generating quality telesales leads within current customer accounts and NEW prospects.
The primary role is to lead our outbound telesales campaigns with the goal of qualifying accounts for Tangle products and services. This requires someone who enjoys outbound sales and understands the fundamental principles of selling. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, is detail oriented and highly organized.
You should have experience in Sales, be efficient at closing sales, getting appointments, and building rapport over the phone to both warm leads and COLD leads.
The position will involve some market research through a variety of sources including but not limited to internal customer lists, industry organization lists, internet research, and the purchase of external market-specific mailing lists.
In addition, the Telesales Account Executive will ensure that all leads and sales efforts are appropriately processed and organized for follow-up via our CRM system: SalesForce. This requires execution of all necessary tasks and activities in follow up to telemarketing campaigns including accurately recording all gathered data and generating Reports for management in SalesForce. Previous experience and use with SalesForce is desired.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or an Associate’s degree with two to three years of any combination of customer service, sales, or marketing related experience; or three or more years of any combination of customer service, sales, or marketing experience. Data entry, Inbound or outbound call center experience, and telemarketing/sales skills training, are pluses.
Compensation:
Compensation includes a starting base salary plus sales commission.
