Position Description

Summary - Manage the daily operations of our Davenport, Iowa Packaging Department including:  scheduling, inventory management, equipment setup and operation, meeting production and quality requirements and reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develop and implement production and replenishment schedules.Manage employees, equipment and supplies.Interface with warehouse to ensure product to pack is picked according to schedule.Schedule production to achieve maximum effectiveness of packaging equipment.Ship orders on time to meet customer request dates.Ensure maintenance is completed on the packaging equipment.Collect and report on production and quality metrics.

Qualifications - Three (3) years minimum managing a packaging or production operation required.

Education and/or Experience - High school education required.  Some college preferred.  Experience in a packaging or production environment required.
