Planning Information Specialist

We have an immediate opening for a Planning Information Specialist in our Morton Grove, Illinois office. We are conveniently located across the street from the Metra station.

 

The Planning Information Specialist is responsible for monitoring inventory at Company and Logical Warehouse levels.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Develop weekly/monthly fill rate and open-to-buy report summaries highlighting items of interest/concern.Manipulation of weekly download files from the system for inventory forecast and shipment evaluations.Generate bi-monthly Index report by style and customer.Prepare reports: forecast vs. booked, fulfillment file, receipt log: forecast vs. sales analysis by customer.Calculate, write and manage item pushes, rollouts, SSO orders and replenishments to manage customer inventory.Maintain item codes and utilize internal/external software program, websites, spreadsheets, AS/400 and demand solutions to facilitate order management.Calculate and report anticipated inventory levels based on sales, receipts and on-hand balances.Perform monthly inventory audits with a focus on Prime, Promo and Discontinued products as well as Logical Warehouse inventory and Core/Fashion forecasts as it relates to the Sales Plan.Perform top/bottom analysis.  Communicate process improvements related to meeting company initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

· Minimum of one to three years experience in Forecasting/Planning/Inventory Analysis working in a manufacturing/distribution environment.

· Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

· Excellent communication skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office computer programs.

· Knowledge of JD Edwards a plus.
